Kerygma
A Bible reading companion I carried end to end: the identity, the iOS and Android apps, the web app, the API, the site and all the communication. My most complete piece.

The project
This time, I was the client.
Kerygma was no client brief. It is the app I wished existed and no one was building: a companion that explains the Bible while you read it. So I made it, alone, from the first stroke of the logo to the last line of API.
Identity, iOS app, Android app, web app, backend, marketing site, Instagram visuals, communication: every link went through my hands. It is the project that best says what a one person studio can hold.

The identity
A key, and a whole world of engravings.
The logo is a key. On its bow, a quatrefoil struck with a cross: the four Gospels gathered around Christ. Understanding Scripture means finding the right key.
Around it, a whole world of inked engravings: the ark, the dove, the crown of thorns, the joined hands. An old language, held from one image to the next, to give a 2026 app the patina of a book people have opened for centuries.
The problem
The Bible is hard. Reading it should not be.
An obscure verse, and the endless online debate begins. Whole books no one dares open, a geography three thousand years old without a single landmark. Most people do not leave the Bible for lack of faith, but for lack of keys.
So Kerygma hands one over at every verse. Tap a word and four readings open: the historical context, the symbolism, the meaning of the Hebrew and Greek words, the echoes in other traditions. In a hurry? A summary lights up the chapter, and Quick Read mode unrolls the text like a story.
Context, symbolism, semantics, interreligious: four takes on a single verse, offline and ad free.
The web
The same app, opened in the browser.
The site is not just a showcase. The whole Bible reads there too, with the same explanations and the same typographic care as on mobile.

The communication
Getting it known, in the same breath.
The Instagram visuals extend the brand instead of betraying it. Same engravings, same tone, between verses, « Myth or Reality? » series and Hebrew and Greek word origins.
